Las Nuevas is located above the pretty town of Alora, in Andalucia, 40 minutes drive north west of Malaga airport. In beautiful and peaceful surroundings, this restored finca provides the perfect setting for the perfect holiday.

Perched on a hilltop in a quiet location, there are uninterrupted views across the Guadalhorce valley, mountains of the Sierra de Las Nieves, and across to El Torcal. Ideally located for hill walking, bird watching and enjoying the night sky, Las Nuevas offers the peace and tranquility to relax by the pool or the perfect base from which to explore local attractions.

Set in 20 acres of olive and almond trees, this 200-year-old building offers beautiful and spacious accommodation across three individual properties.

Each house has it's own private terrace and also has access to the beautifully designed and enclosed courtyard. Guests can enjoy the fantastic hillside swimming pool and sun terrace, bbq facilities and children's play area.

Our accommodation is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday, however, we are pleased to offer the services of an experienced and accomplished cook. Featuring a selection of local delicacies, and using our own fresh organic produce whenever possible, we can provide lunch, dinner and gourmet picnic baskets for part or all of your stay.

A welcome pack awaits all new guests (enough for lunch or a light supper), however, we also offer a 'shopping list' service. You provide us with a shopping list and idea of how much you wish to spend, a week before your stay and we will ensure your fridge and cupboards are stocked for your arrival.

New for 2008: We are excited about a programme of activity holidays to be held at Las Nuevas this year. In May an art holiday 'Drawing with Colour' run by ArtEscapes, and in June a Jazz Guitar Master Class Retreat with Mike Walker. Further details www.andaluzjazz.com.

We recommend you hire a car for your stay with us, but we do offer an airport 'meet and greet' service.
